Net Zero Cup is a women’s initiative, founded in 2021 by company valuation expert and entrepreneur Lale Günay Pinarel, launched to protect the planet by reducing single-use plastic waste with a carbon neutral solution, thereby also fighting against climate change. We aim to make it a greener world, cup by cup!

It’s core principle is sustainability.

Produced in Istanbul with plant-based raw materials sourced from Germany, Net Zero Cup supports the local economy by working with small to medium size enterprises but also providing local employment opportunities.

Our raw material is post food production sugar cane juice and molasses, making it a carbon neutral material. It cannot get more sustainable than this!

Whilst the plant based raw material is carbon neutral, we eliminate the carbon dioxide emissions generated during the cup production process are compensated by planting a sapling for each Net Zero Cup in collaboration with Scoot Eco (in Europe) and the Aegean Forest Foundation or Republic of Türkiye, Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry General Directorate of Forestry (in Türkiye).
